The Watoto Children’s Choir is touring the UK with its new presentation ’Signs and Wonders’ and will be appearing at the Baptist Church in Ross-on-Wye, on Saturday, April 21st.
The choir, whose membership is made up of orphans and other vulnerable children from Uganda, will present a concert of energetic worship music and dance. “The concert”, says James Skinner, the Creative Director of Watoto Choirs, “will give the children an opportunity to tell of their transformation from their dark past to the light that God has shown them”.
The children will share stories of how their lives have been changed, and how they have now been given the chance to help transform their communities.
Vibrant, visual, contemporary and above all, joyful, the concert (which will run for approximately one and a half hours, including refreshments) is free, but there will be a freewill offering opportunity for those who want to contribute to the work of the Watoto Church in Uganda as they continue to care for the many orphaned children within the African community.
The concert begins at 6pm, door open at 5:15pm, you can reserve a place, as demand is sure to to be high, by calling the church office on: 01989 562012 or e-mailing Steph: [email protected] See the full story in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
