Members of Ross Town Council agreed to invite a representative of the West Midlands ambulance service to their next meeting to explain the changes proposed for the ambulance service especially regarding Ross.
The ambulance service claims that people in Ross and the surrounding area will be better off when the new scheme, called Make Ready, is up and running.
Margaret Wilce, a member of the public, asked the Councillors if they knew that there were plans to cut the ambulance service in Ross from two ambulances to one with a rapid response car and a paramedic. She said that a paramedic will attend a call first to assess the situation and will then call an ambulance if it is needed. She said:?"We should know more about this".
