THE Basement Youth Trust charity, which runs the free-to-access facility for 11- to 17-year-olds, have started a crowdfunding campaign with a target of £3,000.

The charity, which operates out of the Venue in Hill Street was threatened with closure at the end of last year

And now it wants to say a big thank you to its funders and give local people in Ross-on-Wye, the opportunity to help keep youth club running.

The charity states that with the help of the Eveson Trust, Ross Town Council, Ross Lions, Garfield Western Foundation, Herefordshire Community Foundation and EF Bulmer Trust helps the support young people, engage them in new experiences and help them form positive and long-lasting relationships outside of the virtual world.
