Madam, I am overwhelmed and thrilled with the response I have received regarding the ball and auction I am organising to take place on October 17th at The Chase Hotel, in aid of Help for Heroes. Tickets have almost sold out, and we have more wonderful items for the auction and raffle.
Joyce Thomas and Iris Price have kindly offered to open a charity shop for a week, 24th August to 31st August. All proceeds will be going towards the final total made at the Ball and Auction in October.
We are hoping to raise lots of money for the wonderful charity Help for Heroes. The charity shop is situated at 44 High Street (opposite The Kings Head). Anyone who would like to donate some money to the cause, or donate some goods please leave them at the shop or call 01989 564180.
Again, many thanks to everyone who has been helping out. Don't forget tickets are still on sale from The Ross Gazette and The Monmouthshire Beacon, but are selling fast.
