Dear Editor,

What a fantastic day for our first ‘come out and play in Ross-on-Wye’ at Old Tannery Way park. Ross Children’s Projects is a newly formed constituted group looking to provide free outdoor play sessions full of adventure and challenges, for children aged between 0 - 12 years and our first free session was an amazing success.

We had many children (spanning the age range) participating in our first session and we hope they had a really good time, in a safe, friendly environment.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank those that provided all the fun and games: Becky from Baby Brain, Claire from Sing and Sign, Jo from Everyday Play and Dr Bike from Hereford Cycle Hub. Thank you all for providing a fun day for the kids of Ross and the surrounding villages.

We would also like to say a massive thank you to Ross Town Council and The Ross Lions for granting us the funding to be able to provide such an amazing experience for the children this summer holiday. We couldn’t have done it without you, thanks again.

To all those interested, please find details of our next session on our Facebook page ‘Ross Chil- dren’s Projects’. We will be joined again by Dr Bike so please don’t forget to bring your bike for a hands on learning experience in cycle maintenance.

We will also be joined by Wyeplay and Ignite at some of our future sessions, like and follow our Facebook page for more updates. We hope to see you there come rain or shine, the kids will love it.
