A moving concert at St Mary’s in Ross raised thousands to support the Ukraine appeal.

With over 220 in attendance, the Ross Choristers Community Choir held a concert which brought in over £3,000 of cash donations. The money was handed to the Ross Lions who will be making sure it makes it to those who need it.

The choir impressed and moved the audience with contemporary choral songs. Some of the more popular numbers evened inspired the audience to sing along.

As part of the set, the choir performed a Ukrainian lullaby.

Shun Williams, musical director and accompanist wanted to thank everyone for their generous donations to the appeal. He told the Gazette: “Money was just pouring in towards the cause.”
