Following their recent Spring Concert in Ross-on-Wye on April 21st, Ross Choristers decided to make a generous donation to the Ross Meeting Centre.

On Wednesday, May 2nd several of the choir attended the Meeting Centre and presented a cheque for £500 to Treasurer, Pat Dazeley and Administrator, Anne Parsons. In addition they were persuaded to give an impromptu ‘singalong’ which was much appreciated by all attendees.

The donation will be used to provide additional music activities in the group, as well as a summer outing.

Ross Meeting Centre, which is open for people with mild to moderate dementia, is very grateful for the support they receive from the community.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now
