Two very different groups both took part in the Clean for Queen campaign in the Ross-on-Wye area recently.
A group of determined volunteers from Harewood End took part in a Clean for the Queen litter pick on Sunday, March 6th.
The group collected enough litter, consisting of mostly drinks cans, bottle and crisp packets, to fill several bin bags, around the Harewood End village and the A49.
Walford Primary School pupils and staff were very busy on Friday, March 4th as they took part in the national Clean for the Queen campaign to clean up Britain in time for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday in June.
Chair of Governors, Paul Deneen and Governors, Joyce Thomas MBE DL and Liz Boynton took the opportunity of thanking Headteacher, Louise George and the staff and pupils for being involved in this national initiative.
