Madam, It has come to my attention that certain misguided and misinformed people claim that Ross Conservative Club is facing closure. I would like to take this opportunity of correcting such misconceptions through your august columns. We will have no truck with such doomsayers and we are looking forward to 2013 with great optimism.

We shall shortly be beginning a programme of modest redecoration to welcome guests to our functions, beginning with Ladies Night on the 27th of this month. Many organisations have arranged to enjoy our Christmas lunches in December and we are also holding three Christmas Party Nights which are widely advertised, one of them being already fully booked.
