MADAM, The Ross May Day Festival was a brilliant celebration of community life. The emphasis on showcasing local talent alongside goods and services, combined with excellent organisation, created a 'day to remember'.

Making Ross traffic free enabled traders to spill out onto the streets and families to enjoy this wonderful ambience. It was a delight to see everyone discovering the fabulous array of entertainment, stalls and refreshments.

There was something for everyone. The children in our party enjoyed every minute of the quality children's entertainment. We are already looking forward to next year.

Could Ross become traffic free more often? This festival was such a boost to the town and its residents. I came home thinking 'Isn't Ross a great town'!
