The Christmas Day Lunch held at the Larruperz Centre for those who may otherwise be alone, went very well again this year. There were many guests from the local community, as well as volunteers.

The dinner was traditional turkey with all the trimmings which was beautifully cooked and served. Meals were delivered to the homes of those who were unable to attend.

Local Piper, Professor Alan Harrison entertained the company with seasonal tunes and the Mayor and Mayoress paid a visit to chat to guests and helpers.

At the end of their meal, a surprise visit was made by Santa who had a gift for all the guests.
