The first Country and Western event at Welsh Newton Village Hall takes place this Saturday, September 7th.

Marcus, a singer and performer, who is a very experienced entertainer, and was recently appearing at the four day Talgarth Country and Western Festival, promises a great evening of live music.

The Social Club based at Welsh Newton Village Hall organises live music on the first and third Saturday of every month and it is a very friendly and welcoming club. They have a variety of different entertainers on those Saturdays but if Marcus is popular they hope to run regular Country and Western events.

The hall is on the old Hereford to Monmouth Road and entry is just £3.
