At the February Meeting, two members of the Ross-on-Wye Branch were given County Appreciation Awards by the County Vice-Chairman, Mr Brian Cheaseley.

Mrs Sue Lampert received an award for her tireless work as Poppy Appeal Co Ordinator for Ross-on-Wye. When she took over the total raised was £7,000, and through her hard work and dedication this has reached over £24,000. Mr Jason Games received his award for giving the branch a new lease of life with his enthusiasm and drive. At present he is the Branch Treasurer, a member of the Branch Community Support Team and is taking over from Sue this year.

They are pictured with the Branch President Air Cdre Viv Warrington, Chairman Mr Graham Aplin holding the Lister Cup (A National Award), Vice-Chairman Mr Ian Hedges, Secretary Mrs Margaret Jones.

Mr Aplin added that Sue and Jason are part of a marvellous team and they should be very proud of their achievements.
