Madam, I wonder how many of your readers saw last week's programme 'The Hairy Bikers Food Tour of Britain' on BBC 2 Tuesday at 5.15pm.
Herefordshire was the featured county and was wonderfully portrayed. Many local food outlets must have been thrilled at the way their wares - pork, beef, butter, wine, cider, apples (and even snails!) were presented to a national audience.
The Bridge at Wilton restaurant also received an accolade and James, the resident chef, was complimented on his exceptional food. I'm sure those of us who haven't had the pleasure of dining there yet will be remedying it very soon!
Its great to know that wonderful produce and talent received such wide exposure. I'm sure the Tourist Board will be receiving extra enquiries as a result of the programme.
