Visitors to Labels Shopping, Ross-on-Wye will soon be able to view a huge wall-size cow mural painted by professional local artist, Sam Morris.

Sam, who specialises in realistic paintings of champion pedigree cattle for farmers, auctioneers, breeders and collectors also designs commercial stylized illustrations which she sells all over the UK including at the new ‘Handmade & Local’ at Labels where local artists and craftspeople can display and sell their wares.

“After our recent ground floor refurbishments we found ourselves with a huge blank wall.” Said Ailsa Macleod, Head of Marketing at Labels. “We asked Sam if she could help….and she loved the idea to fill the wall with her cows!”

“Sam will be painting her mural for us on Easter Monday 28th March ‘live’ so that people can watch it progressing from start to finish.” Said Ailsa.

“The Sam Morris cow mural painting is just one of a host of activities that we’ve organised for families to watch and take part in over the Easter holidays, from Friday, March 25th to Sunday, April 10th with a photography studio, art, craft, food tasting, face painting and a Spring trail.”

Labels Shopping is located just off junction 4 of the M50.
