Highways England have confirmed that they have now fixed the crash barrier on the dual carraigeway at Pencraig. The barrier was repaired on Saturday, August 29th; it had been damaged during the early hours of Monday, August 3rd.
The Ross Gazette reported the incident in the edition of August 12th; a driver reportedly bounced his car off a pavement, and collided with the central reservation; the driver’s pet dog jumped out the vehicle and collided with a lorry, which killed it instantly.
