STUDENTS from John Kyrle High

School did well at the recent annual

County Cross Country championships.

The following students were selected

to represent the County in Bromsgrove:

Abi Beddard, Ali Hartland, Ali Raine,

Beth Williams, Vanessa Brann, Mark

Alston, Max Parker, Jordan Marshall

and Sam Machette.

Vanessa Brann came first in her category

and Jordan Marshall finished a

close second in his. In wet conditions,

all pupils in the teams performed

extremely well, with a very enthusiastic

sprint finish from

Becky Plumb! There

was great team spirit

on the day of the

championships, and

all the pupils stayed

to support the rest of

their team once they

had completed their

own races.
