Madam, That is all we are hearing nowadays. Cuts in funding for hospitals, schools, defence, highways etc etc.

We are all expected to put up with them and pay more for everything, without asking for increases in salaries etc. This is why I found it incredible to hear that we (the tax payers) who own 41% of Lloyds Banking group voted in favour of the Bankers remuneration and Bonus package at the AGM last Friday.

How can they pay each other hundreds of thousands of pounds each in bonuses when it is mainly their fault that the UK is in this mess? And why did our wonderful government agree to this?

We trust the government to look after our interests but after WE have bailed out the banks to keep them afloat they (the government) then vote OUR 41% of the shareholding in favour of these obscene bonuses.

Pensioners are expected to live on £100/£150 per week pension whilst bankers pay themselves the equivalent of thousands per week in Bonuses alone. How can this be right?
