Ross rally driver, Dan Gray, and his co-driver, Russ Joseph, took 2nd place in their class at the Wyedean Forest rally on Saturday, February 7th.

This was Dan's 2nd Wyedean but he found it very different from his previous experience in 2008. Due to the poor weather conditions the stages were covered in snow and ice which made the rally very tricky.

The first stage was Sallowvallets. Not really knowing what to expect, Dan went out at a steady pace and after about a mile came across a queue of rally cars stuck on the stage in the snow.

He said:?"Upon seeing this, we thought the rally was going to be called off, but once the stage was cleared we got onto the next stages. Conditions started to improve and we put in some good times, and got the car to the rally finish in one piece."

Dan's next rally will be the Somerset Stages on April 25th.
