Natalie Morgan-Dew, who runs Mizz Twisted Cherry Studios in Ross-on-Wye, has recently won some very prestigious burlesque competitions.
The performer, whose stage name is ‘Mizz Twisted Cherry’ has taken the burlesque scene by storm.
In January, 2019 she won the Seren Yn Codi competition with a platinum award and the audience award at the North Wales burlesque and cabaret festival in Conwy.
Natalie also won her heat at the Infinitease competition in Chiswick, London, back in November, 2018, which placed her in the semi final last week. She was up against 12 performers and, again, won this competition with sensational feedback.
Natalie’s husband, Ben Dew, told the Ross Gazette: “Natalie’s performances are very theatrical, comical, and vivacious. She is always telling a story through her acts. It’s a mini piece of theatre. Her acts defy the prejudice that burlesque is tasteless.
