The mood of a public meeting held to discuss the problems faced by neighbours of the Supported Housing for Young People Project called The Foyer changed, once the young residents of December House were invited to have their say.

The Foyer is based in December House, Copse Cross Street and the meeting, which took place on Monday, May 16th, was arranged in the wake of the recent murder of James Ball in the grounds of December House. Although it was acknowledged that this was a rare event for Ross it was unsettling and brought concerns about the supervision of the residents of the Foyer to the fore. However it was made clear that this incident could not be discussed at the meeting for legal reasons. Read the full story in this week's Gazette.
