Parents, children and staff who are connected with Blackmarston Primary Special School finished the term on a high note when planning permission for a new extension was granted last week by Herefordshire Council Planning Committee.
One father, Phil Thomas of Ross, whose son attends the school told the Gazette:?"I am very pleased for the children, teachers, parents and all children and parents that will attend the school in the future."
Leia Daunter's legal guardian, Paulette Evans Baldwin, of Brampton is also delighted at the School's success. She said:?"If we hadn't got planning permission I don't know where she would have gone. It was very much needed. These children have lots of difficulties. We were told Leia would never walk or talk or anything. The school has brought her on so well. At the school they cater for her every need. The staff are marvellous." Read this week's Ross Gazette for a full report of this story.
