Walford enjoyed a fantastic, sunny day when several local residents opened their gardens in aid of St Michael and All Angels Church on Sunday, June 10th.

Around 400 people came to see the wonderful trees, flowers, water features and views of the eight gardens, as well as to buy refreshments, plants and local produce.

In total around £6,700 was raised for the church and the committee extends their thanks to everyone who helped: those who opened their gardens or made cakes, jam, scones (and more) or worked tirelessly on the day to make it such an enjoyable success.
