THIS weekend Ross Juniors were expecting their easiest game of the season as they faced bottom of the league Holmer Athletic. Despite Ross agreeing before the game they would not take the opposition lightly, they started poorly.
Juniors line up was again slightly patched up with striker Andy French being called upon to play centre back and Kevin Trotman filling in at left back. But this was no excuse for the poor start.
Further woe was added to the morning when Ross' one fit centre back Tom Burford was forced to leave the field due to a leg injury and usual central midfield veteran Will Barker slotted into the back four.
