TODAY, Wednesday August 6 there are free family activities taking place in Ross-on-Wye to celebrate National Playday.

Ross Town Council is hosting several free activities at the Ropewalk from 10am to 4pm as part of the town’s celebrations for National Playday.

Giant games comprising Jenga, chess, noughts and crosses, Connect 4, croquet and buzz wire will be available to test your skills, along with a giant deck chair to pose for a family photograph or have a rest after playing the games.

Families can enjoy a traditional Punch and Judy show which is being performed at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

This event has been funded by Ross Town Council and promises to be an exciting day with lots of entertainment, and it’s all free.
