Madam, I enclose a photograph of some road signs that have recently appeared on the A40 near Ross.
You will notice the 'Clearway End' closest to camera and then 'Clearway for 22 miles' set approx. 10m further on. This is duplicated on the east-bound lanes, that is eight signs in total.
Any object at the roadside may distract drivers from the road ahead, and has the potential to cause injury if collided with. So is this a completely pointless waste of time and metal, or am I missing something?
Rob Sedman,
Ross
