Ross Town had to come from behind to earn themselves a point at home to Hinton, when they drew 3-3.
Ross were below par for the first 60 minutes, although took the lead through striker Justin Halfpenny who latched onto a log ball from Adam Bridges to blast his shot past the keeper. Just before the interval, Hinton got themselves level through a back post header from a corner. The 2nd half was as much as the first, but Hinton took their opportunities in front of goal to go 3-1 up. Ross were still up for the challenge and gradually got back into the game. Mark Parnham was brought on to add height to the front line and from one of his flick on's Halfpenny was through again. This time however, his shot was blocked but it somehow still crawled across the line. With virtually the last kick of the game, Ross secured a point when Lee Walker volleyed home a half cleared corner. T R Yates man of the match was Lee Walker.
On Saturday, Ross Town are at home to Pegasus and afterwards are hosting a Race Night with special guest appearance of local comedian Roger Mince, free admission at The Conservatory, The Hope and Anchor, 7.30pm.
