Traffic was delayed between the Wilton roundabout at Ross-on-Wye on Friday, February 10th after a collision between two cars near Peterstow on the A49.
Emergency services were called to the junction of the A49 and A4137, near to the Red Lion, shortly after 6pm on Friday.
One car had turned over and firecrews from Ross and Whitchurch released the 32-year-old male driver who was trapped inside. He was taken to Hereford County Hospital with head pain.
A 42-year-old woman who was driving the other car complained of neck and shoulder pain and was also taken to Hereford County Hospital.
The road reopened at about 8.30pm.
