Judges at the Walford Hedgehog Cake Competition had a very tough time on Friday as dozens of fabulous cakes, of all sizes, as well as biscuits, filled the school hall at Walford Primary School.

The pupils, probably with a little help from other family members, had created a wonderful, tantalising array of goodies which were almost impossible to choose between.

The children also took part in special story-telling sessions and discovered more about hedgehogs. Many of them wore their hair in hedgehog inspired spikes too.
