The children have been celebrating the end of the summer term at Ashfield Park Nursery.

Their parents came for a special performance of the children’s favourite songs, rhymes and stories. The children who are starting school in September all received a special certificate and their amazing Learning Journey books.

The highlight of the week was a teddy bears’ picnic. During the picnic a message on a paper plane arrived telling them that someone was stuck up a tree. The children went and searched the wood and found a bear whose parachute was stuck on a branch. The children used their problem solving and tree climbing skills to rescue him.
