Brampton Abbotts CE Primary School celebrated the end of the Autumn Term in style with their annual Carol Service held at St Mary’s Church in Ross-on-Wye last week.

The staff and children had worked hard to ensure the celebration was one to remember. Children from all classes wrote special Christmas prayers that they read out during the service. Some children were chosen to sing solos and all the children joined in with the final song ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ made famous by Slade.

Many parents and carers were also seen joining in with the actions for this final song. The church was full and lots of the visitors commented that the service had helped get them into the ‘Christmas Spirit’.
