This year, the annual summer fete at Gorsley Goffs Primary School, near Ross-on-Wye, was especially significant because the school was also marking its 200th anniversary. As well as colourful stalls, fun and games, and lots of local delicacies, the school marked their history with an exhibition featuring pupils past and present.
Crowds flocked to the school grounds to enjoy the fete on Saturday, July 13th and had great fun in the sun and celebrating the school with pony rides, roaming reptiles, medieval minstrel workshops, craft activities, bouncy castles, and live music.
In the school hall, residents and pupils past and present visited the exhibition, and the school also organised a Proms in the Playground with musical demonstrations from local children, and their friends and family.See the full story and more pictures in this week’s edition of the Ross Gazette, or subscribe to our online edition here
