Year five pupils at Ashfield Park Primary School received a training session in basic CPR from three of Ross’ First Responders.

The pupils were shown how to use a defibrillator and then every child was practically involved in administering CPR using the school’s set of resuscitation Annies.

The children and teachers are very grateful to have been given this opportunity of first aid training by the community’s First Responders: Sarah Cook, Kate Williams and Tom Dudziec.

The three also explained about their duties, when they are responsible for going immediately to the scene of an accident or emergency to provide assistance, all work which they undertake voluntarily.
