Pupils at St Mary’s CE Primary School, Fownhope, raised £34 from an impromptu Ice Bucket Challenge over their headmaster, Mr Milne, at the school fete.

“We’re always up for a challenge at Fownhope School,” said Mr Milne, headteacher “So, I could only say yes when asked!”

The total amount has yet to be announced, but the fete looks to have made a huge total for school funds.

Mr Milne commented that he would like to say thank you to the PTA for their hard work in organising the event, and to all who supported it on the day.
