Reception and Year 6 pupils of Goodrich Primary School visited The Coddington Christmas Tree Farm, near Ledbury, on Friday, November 25th.

The event has become something of a school tradition; each year, the oldest and youngest pupils, along with teachers and some parents, travel to the tree farm and once there, the Year 6 children are each buddied-up with a reception pupil to look after.

On Friday, the children and teachers were welcomed by Colin Palmer, who owns the tree farm. He runs the family business with his wife, Margaret.

The children were then told to vote for their favourite tree. Once they had picked the tree that they thought was the best, they stood next to it. The tree with the most excitable youngsters crowded around it, was proclaimed as the winner.
