Pupils in Class 3 at Kings Caple School recently visited Pennoxstone Court Farm to find out about the process of growing and harvesting strawberries.

They met farmer, Neil Cockburn, who allowed them to pick strawberries in the polytunnels and then demonstrated the packaging process. Neil then donated some strawberries which were sold in aid of the school.

The children had a fantastic time and would like to thank Mr. Cockburn for a wonderful experience.
