Two Herefordshire teenagers have been offered the life-changing opportunity to study at Oxford and Cambridge universities.
Freya Billinghurst, who lives near Ross-on-Wye, has received an offer to read Law at St Anne’s College, Oxford.
Joshua Kershaw, who also lives near Ross, has had an offer to read Veterinary Medicine at St John’s College, Cambridge.
Freya, 18, is studying A level English, Economics, German and Religious Studies at Monmouth School for Girls.
Freya is a keen skier and snowboarder who enjoys athletics and is an active member of the schools’ Combined Cadet Force (CCF).
Freya grew up in France, where she was educated for 12 years, before joining Monmouth Schools Sixth Form.
Old Monmothian, Joshua, has had an offer to read Veterinary Medicine at St John’s College, Cambridge.
Joshua took his A levels at Monmouth School for Boys last summer and is currently in Thailand working on coral conservation.
