A new play area was opened at Brampton Abbotts CE Primary School, at their Funday on Saturday, July 1st, by Ross-on-Wye Town Councillor and school governor, Hannah Lerego.
The school celebrates its 160th anniversary this year, and the new equipment was installed to mark this milestone. The new play area was paid for, as a joint effort, by the school and the PTFA.
Headteacher, Dan Brearey, told the Ross Gazette that the new area will also be perfect for children who want a quiet place to go at break times to read a book.
Several children waited eagerly in anticipation to explore the new area, before they then went on to enjoy the events of the Funday.
