Pudsey made a visit to St Mary’s Primary School in Fownhope last week to kick off this year’s Children in Need fundraising campaign.

The School Council ran a competition to design a superhero friend for Pudsey and organised a collection. They presented Pudsey with a cheque for £265, the total raised so far.

The children hope to raise even more money for Children in Need by coming to school in spotty clothes on Friday, November 17th.

“It was great to welcome Pudsey to our school,” said Mr Milne, Headteacher. “The children were very excited to see him, and every child in the school gave him a cuddle or a high five!”
