Conscientious students at John Kyrle High School have been attending classes during the Easter Holidays to prepare for their forthcoming exams this summer.
Most of the pupils in Years 11, 12 and 13, along with their teachers, took part in Easter Week at the school. There were more than 200 sessions on offer for the students, in a range of subjects, which gave the chance for them to brush up on revision for any topics that they were feeling apprehensive about for the exam period.
The sessions each lasted for an hour and a half, and students who took part in Easter Week would attend up to three every day.
In addition to the range of classes on offer, some teachers also organised drop-in sessions, which were open for any of the students to attend and get some extra tuition.
And while the weather has been lovely during the Easter Holidays, the classroom sessions at the school make it a little easier for students to avoid the temptation to procrastinate, and those who had taken part in the holiday lessons at JKHS could rest easy over the Easter weekend, knowing that they had done plenty of revision.
Some students, after they had attended the lessons, stayed at the school and carried on working in the study room.
