Year 3 and 4 pupils at St Joseph’s RC Primary School in Ross-on-Wye have spent weeks working on a production of William Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

The children are aged between 7 and 9 and have had to learn lots of lines and - in some cases - a stage combat sequence! And although they performed an adapted version of the play, they did have to learn some Shakespearian dialogue.

They performed on Monday, July 16th and Tuesday, July 17th to a packed audience, which was a huge success.
