Children at Kings Caple Primary Academy have recently had a visit from two speakers from The Samaritans in Hereford, who led an assembly on communicating feelings and worries.
Pupils discussed how they can make a positive contribution to helping others with their worries and recognised who can help them if they were worried by anything.
The children’s responses were extremely supportive and reflective. After the assembly, one pupil said: “It showed me all the worries that people could have and how all of them can be made better by sharing these with trusted people I know.”See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
