Children from two primary schools near to Ross-on-Wye - Whitchurch Primary School and Weston under Penyard Church of England Primary School - received an exciting visit from two very special guests on Tuesday, February 23rd.

Professor Poet and First Officer Ditty, from The Rhyme Rocket, a much-loved CBeebies television programme, came to Whitchurch Primary on Tuesday afternoon, to help make learning about phonics fun.

The children were all in fits of giggles, and after the initial star-shock had worn off, were all keen to be fully engaged in the session.
