Residents headed to the polling stations yesterday. The following results have been announced:

Philip Cutter, Gordon Lucas, Andrew Atkinson, Caroline Utting, Jane Roberts, Christopher Bartrum, Joyce Davis, John Edwards, Colin Gray, David Ravenscroft, Ian Henderson and Jo Lane.

Herefordshire County Coucil Results:

Ross-on-Wye West Ward, two seats. Gordon Lucas conservatives, 597 votes. Christopher Bartrum Liberal Democrats, 617 votes.

Ross-on-Wye East Ward, two seats. Phillip Cutter Conservatives, 703 votes. Andrew Atkinson Conservatives, 902 votes.

Kerne Bridge Ward, one seat. John Jarvis, Conservatives, 738 votes.

Llangarron Ward, one seat. Jenny Hyde Conservative, 839 votes.

Pontrilas Ward, one seat. Russell Hamilton Conservative, 728 votes.

Penyard Ward, one seat. Harry Bramer Conservative, 1074 votes.

Old Gore Ward, one seat. Barry Durkin Conservative, 807 votes.
