The Group stages went right to the wire with Athletico Jeffrey and Ross Junior men eventually joining Group winners Weston Athletic and King Kenny's Red men in the semi finals.
The semi finals were both cagey affairs, A Wesley Downing Goal edged Weston past Ross Juniors 1-0 to set up a final with Athletico Jeffrey, who beat King Kenny's Red Men 3-1.
For the second year running the final was goal-less in normal time so the game went into extra time, however this year there was to be no penalty shoot out, Eli Wooding's accurate finish a minute from time ensured that. Despite brave resistance from Athletico Jeffrey Weston eventually made the pressure tell and were worthy champions .
The Trivett Hicks Golden Boot for top scorer was won by Weston's Eli Wooding with seven goals.
The City Plumbing Player of the Tournament, and Dawley Man of the Final Match, was Casey Morgan, also of Weston Athletic.
The organisers would like to extend their gratitude to all the teams which took part, Ross Rowing Club, Paul Flitney and Mark Ravenhill at Ross Juniors, Steve Davis (Tournament referee), Martin Payne, Neil Lucas, Colin Gray, Gavin Oates, James and Sophie Saunders, George Smith and all the sponsors, and everyone who helped to make the day such a success.
