An emergency traffic regulation order has been issued today, Friday, October 21st for Alton Street, from the junction of Copse Cross Street to the junction of Penyard Lane, to prevent cars parking in this area for the duration of the Copse Cross Street closure.

Councillor Richard Mayo said "This has been requested by the fire authority and is necessary to improve traffic flow. This order can be enforced by traffic wardens and the police if necessary."
