MAdam, what a distressing article in the Ross Gazette about the horrific incident with the cat and her four kittens.
How could anyone be so heartless to plough into them in that manner and not even stop or show concern, and to think there was a child in the car just proves that there are some very nasty people in this world with little respect for life.
This leads onto the subject of speed restrictions. I too live not that far from this road along a narrow, bending lane and although there are speed restrictions part along it (why only part confuses me somewhat!) it is still used like a racetrack. Many ride horses, walk dogs or young families along this lane and I feel it is only a matter of time before a tragedy happens here too.
Sadly I have to admit it is often local people who do this and delivery drivers, people that should know better. My next point is, Who is there to enforce these restrictions anyway?
