COUNTRY music fans are in for a real treat as the Nashville Live Tribute Show rolls into Monmouth’s Savoy later this month (Thursday, October 23).

It brings to life the sights and sounds of country music’s biggest legends and modern icons, including tributes to George Strait, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Tanya Tucker, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood, Josh Turner, The Bellamy Brothers, Dolly Parton and Luke Combs.

A show spokesperson said: “From toe-tapping classics to heartfelt ballads, the Nashville Live Tribute Show promises an unforgettable night packed with authentic performances, dazzling costumes, and all the spirit of Music City, USA.

“Whether you’re a lifelong country fan or just discovering the genre, this is a must-see celebration of the music that defined generations.

“The Savoy Theatre provides the perfect backdrop for this high-energy, family-friendly event. Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic of Nashville right here in Monmouth!”

And before that on Friday, October 10, you can pay tribute to another US singing legend – The King himself – with West End star Mario Kombou performing The Elvis Years.

A show insider said: “With stunning lights, nostalgic videos capturing the essence of each era, and no fewer than 12 costume changes in over two hours of epic performance, The Elvis Years features over 50 classic hits including That’s Alright Mama, Suspicious Minds, It’s Now or Never, Heartbreak Hotel, Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, Love Me Tender, If I Can Dream and many more.

Meanwhile, the Savoy is also hosting a recording of the BBC Radio Wales topical comedy show What Just Happened? this Wednesday (October 8), starring Robin Morgan and Kiri Pritchard-McLean.
