Mulled wine and mince pies, carols, Santa’s grotto and a Christmas lights switch-on, a host of brilliant craft stalls and tempting food and drink will be on offer for visitors to the Walford Village Hall Christmas fair.
The team behind the highly successful Walford Village Hall summer fair are organising the Christmas event on Saturday, December 3 from 4pm to 7pm.
All are welcome to the event, at the hall, near Ross-on-Wye. Santa will be making an appearance in his grotto at the event…with a gift for the children in anticipation of the big day.
Trustee Anthony Jones said: “We were blown away with the feedback and praise we received from our Walford Village Hall summer fair. It clearly brought people together for an enjoyable day out. We wanted to do our bit to bring people together at Christmas, too.
“The hall is at the heart of its community so we thought we would also arrange a Christmas fair for the community this December.
“We have a range of great craft stalls, plenty of food and drink plus the traditional Christmas lights switch-on, mulled wine, mince pies and carols.
“We are looking forward to a great afternoon and we look forward to seeing you there.”
The event will welcome a range of craft stalls for guests to enjoy, including:

• Ducklings & Dinosaurs - Children’s creative play costumes, accessories and gifts. Personalised fabric bunting, Christmas fabric bunting, personalised Christmas stockings, hair accessories. Fairy wings 100 per cent handmade
• Naomi Grace Studios - resin artist, engraved acorn keyrings, resin alphabet key rings, lavender hearts, fresh and dried wreaths
• Pitta Stop Catering Pod - selling hot food in Pitta Bread, also tea coffee and cold drinks
• Persephones Designs - handmade and decorated ceramics and eco-dyed textiles.
• Avon - various beauty products, perfumes and Christmas Gifts
• Royal Sweet Mix - Pick n mix sweets, Candy cables, Retro sweets, Fudge, Christmas sweets gifts
• Drunken Boar Mobile Bar – Serving homemade mulled apple and gin recipe and other seasonal favourites.
