The Brexit Party is standing in the West Midlands as a direct result of the failure of Parliament to deliver on the result of the 2016 Referendum.

Their candidates are, Rupert Lowe, Martin Daubney, Andrew England Kerr, Vishal Khatri, Nikki Page, Laura Kevehazi and Katharine Harborne. Rupert Lowe is the lead candidate. He was a member of the Committee that created the FTSE 100 Index before continuing his career in the City. He is a former Chairman of Southampton Football Club where he developed the Southampton Youth Academy, built and funded St Mary’s Stadium and served on the Boards of the Football Association and Wembley National Stadium Limited. Since leaving Southampton FC he has been Chairman of W H Ireland (Stockbrokers) and Torus UK Limited (Insurance) and was previously Chairman of the Prince’s Trust (South East). He is currently Chairman of Proton Partners International which delivers cancer treatments, including proton beam, to four centres in the UK. Rupert is also Chairman of Appleclaim Insurance Holdings Limited.

Rupert has fought against the surrender of Britain’s sovereignty to the undemocratic European Union. He has campaigned against the Maastricht Treaty, stood for the Referendum Party in the Cotswolds in 1997, retaining his deposit, and worked extensively on behalf of Vote Leave.

He owns a selection of family businesses specialising in electrical, mechanical and data contracting, employing over 250 people, and is also a farmer.
